Interesting Angles

We went on a really short trip to The Huntington last Saturday and I managed to take a few great shots (well, I think they are) despite the sweltering heat. Yeahp, we were in the 100s last weekend and we had no choice but to leave the garden, stay home, and turn on the AC FULL BLAST.
This photo is a shot that I took by sticking the camera into the bushes without looking at the viewfinder. I find that this technique is a great way to experiment with angles. Of course, lying down on the ground is always an option so you can frame your shot BUT I wasn’t lying down on the grass with the sun beating down on me!

Oh and this bee was happy sipping nectar despite the heat.

I LOVE the first photo, it’s like looking up at a palm tree through gorgeous flower umbrellas!

Zee, it’s good to be adventuresome in delimiting our appetite exploring new things and navigating other avenues of curiosities. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. But there’s no harm in trying. Am going to add yours in my blogroll.
