Tioga Pass
During our recent trip during Memorial Day weekend, I managed to photograph streets and highways.
This photo was taken on our way to Yosemite National Park. They call this pass, Tioga Pass and this pass scared me half to death! Although it may not seem obvious but this pass is a winding road through the Sierra Nevada Mountains and it is also the highest highway pass in California with an elevation of 9,943 ft. Ooohh… scary!

wow, zee love this road, and the mountain is so scary looking indeed pero murag ganahan ko ani. Reminds me of the Himalayas. I’d be eager to see more of your photos of the trip.

hhahaha bitaw ate pacey wala gyud na…pero we do have mountain passes and the road sa Mabinay in Negros is similar to this one pero dili lang kaayo taas ang elevation…you might not see it but hawa gyud ni sya kaayo…hehehe

I have been on Tioga Pass and I agree with your assessment! Eeek! My aunt lives near Yosemite and warned us about the road before we left. So very beautiful, however.

ooohhh I know what you mean! we were even lucky that it was open… and we didn’t go all the way to Yosemite though…still….the road the pass is uber scary!
